I LOVE having new things to announce! In this case, a brand-new book by our author, Michell Plested.
Michell has had a busy summer defending his property from a rogue bird. It seems a woodpecker has taken a shine to everything wood in Michell’s back yard. His fence, hot tub, deck and a playhouse he built for his children several years ago.
He was almost at his wits end when who should visit, but his granddaughter. She took it upon herself to guard the yard from the dastardly woodpecker. When Michell saw her on patrol, he couldn’t help himself. He reached out to an illustrator friend and they collaborated on a brand-new book – Super Sonya vs. the Woodpecker.
This is a very special book – Michell has wanted to do a children’s picture book for several years – and this one is inspired by and dedicated to his granddaughter who also happens to be the main character in the book.
Super Sonya vs. the Woodpecker is scheduled for a February 20th release. If you would like your own copy, it is already available for pre-order.
