Aaron Kite

Aaron Kite is a writer/artist who likes putting slashes between occupations and who very rarely refers to himself in the third person. He was born on the exact same day that Sau Paulo Metro was inaugurated in Brazil, which the authorities claim is pure coincidence.

At present he has finished three novels in his series about Vincent Tucat – Two Cats, Jade Mouse, and Ten Arrows, as well as the standalone novel A Touch of Poison, winner of the 2012 Watty Award for Most Popular Fantasy. Aaron is also the mastermind behind the irreverent Shakespeare for Slackers series of books, unless William Shakespeare is somehow brought back from the dead and ready to sue, in which case he’s never even heard of such a thing. He’s currently in the middle of writing the novel Revenant, as well as about fifteen or so other books that are all in varying states of doneness. When writing, he likes to disable his spell-checker and make up words, as is illustrated by the use of ‘doneness’ above.

Aaron lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada at present, which he believes really ought to have another sub-section to it, because another comma there would look really slick. He’s allergic to cats, and thus he tries to arrange it so he’s living with three or more whenever possible, probably just to prove a point of some sort.
